Tea is the elixir of life
Lao Tzu
Attention all tea lovers – you have got to try this tea ♥ It isn’t often that I shout from the roof tops about one particular tea (I prefer not to have favourites) but hold everything – I may have discovered the best thing since….well since loose leaf tea 🙂

Behold Tippy Reserve – Maitea have created a masterpiece that has been described as magical and soulful. I think they need to add ‘heavenly’ to that description. Maitea Tippy Reserve is hand crafted using the glittering buds from the exquisite Assam Tea. The tender buds that are used to create this are unique to the Assam Tea plants. It has a deep, almost mystical golden colour when brewed. I noticed a malt fragrance to it which I found enchanting, and a full flavour on the palate with a delicate promise of Bergamot afterwards. I savoured every mouthful of this tea and eked out my supply to make it last for another round.

Brewing Tips – Boil fresh cold water and drop to 95 degrees Celsius. Infuse your Tippy Reserve for 1.5 – 2.5 minutes. I did this exactly and it was perfect. Do not use milk with this tea ♥
Maitea have an amazing range of teas and teaware available. Perfect gift ideas for the end of the year; stunning glass teapots or gorgeous canisters and loose leaf tea, you can’t go wrong ♥

I really should start using the tea button on my kettle to get the right temperature. I just noticed this as reading your post that I might be boiling the water to hot.
