This incredibly healthy healing tea blend for one, which is prepared in a Kyūsu, was shared with me recently and I am so excited to have it here on my Tea Chest Blog. A Kyūsu (急須) is a traditional Japanese teapot, made of clay, mainly used for brewing green tea. But it is just perfect for those smaller portions of special teas. Several of my tea friends have one of these delightful teapots specifically for their medicinal tea blends. The word Kyūsu means “teapot”, even though in modern terms Kyūsu refers to a teapot with a small side handle. There are two types of Kyūsu teapots, one with the handle on the side, Ushirode Kyūsu and one with the handle on top, Uwade Kyūsu.

Dana says this recipe has been a wonderful addition to her daily meals. She has had great improvement with leaky gut, potassium deficiency and symptoms, an increase in her serotonin levels, improved digestion and great skin too. Overall she feels a lot calmer, evenly balanced and has healed within herself; practically overnight. I for one will definitely be adding this to my daily regime. I would love to hear your feedback should you try this recipe.
Why not listen to this beautiful Japanese Tea Cermony music while you prepare, brew and savour this delightful recipe.
